Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. What is the "first weight unit" and what does the weight after the "first weight unit" mean?
The first weight unit refers to the minimum chargeable weight of the package. Packages within the first weight unit range will be charged according to the first weight unit. Any weight exceeding the first weight unit will be charged based on the excess weight.

2. What are the restrictions on the transportation of prohibited goods, liquids, face cream, food, DVD and drugs?
According to customs regulations:
Cigarettes, alcoholic beverages, drugs, and prohibited items are not allowed to be transported.
Air transportation requires non hazardous material identification for liquids, food, particles, and pastes.
It is recommended to avoid bulk shipping of such items. Instead, try shipping in small quantities and sending them together with regular goods such as clothing and shoes to reduce the risk of seizure.
Example: For cosmetics, a single item should not exceed 100 milliliters, and the total amount should not exceed 200 milliliters.
Attention: All shipping suggestions are based on past experience, and we are not responsible for any customs detention incidents.

3. What if my package is overweight?
Different modes of transportation have their own weight restrictions. If the package is overweight:
Delivery may not be able to be submitted.
Or some products may need to be removed and resubmitted.

4. What is volumetric weight?
Volume weight is a term in the logistics industry used for goods that are large in volume but light in weight. Freight can be calculated based on volume and weight.
Calculation formula for air freight volume weight: Volume weight (KG)=Length (CM) × Width (CM) × Height (CM)/6000
Example:
6000 cm ³ of goods are charged based on a volumetric weight of 1 KG
1 m ³ of goods will be charged based on a volume weight of 167 KG.

5. What are the differences in transportation costs for different product types?
Transportation costs are influenced by material, shape, and packaging requirements, which can affect actual weight or volumetric weight.
Shoes:
  • A single pair of shoes is lightweight, but large shoe boxes (such as boots and sneakers) have a large volume, which may incur volumetric and weight costs.
  • Shipping multiple pairs of shoes together can optimize volume and weight.
Luggage and suitcases:
  • Soft bags can be compressed, while hard shell boxes (such as suitcases) have fixed sizes and large volumes.
  • Hard shell boxes may incur higher volume and weight costs, and it is recommended to transport them separately; The soft bag can be folded to reduce volume.
Clothing:
  • Generally lighter, but winter clothing such as down jackets and outerwear has a larger volume.
  • It is recommended to use vacuum compression bags to reduce volume and avoid volume and weight costs.
